Has anyone checked out the new 440 SnoPro. Kinda looks like a viper.
But check out the dry wieght 424 lbs.
and it puts out 99HP do the power to wieght on that.
Some odd things too like a 13.5" wide x 128" long track makes the whole thing longer and narrower. And they reversed the motor, not sure if they went to a direct drive system.
I have heard that they have one under development.

mentions it. You have NEW stuff on it though. Are there any new pics on this sled???.......looks interesting.
I wonder if the new track size will be applied to more race sleds.

Let it snow!

It's not a direct drive. I think I'm in the minority but I like the hood, but I also like the Viper hood. they both look like the Ram Air on the new TA's...

I need spellcheck!

I've been reading rumors about the future of Ski-Doo racing is that they are designing a new clutch system with no weights and springs..............electronic clutches that can be programmed!!!! This is just a rumor i've been reading on other web sites.
I wonder if this had any influence on Blair Morgan and other Cat racers desicion on switching to Ski-Doo???

Just a thought.

There are pics of the sled at www.maximumsled.com
I like the looks of it too.
Sure would like to see them go to a direct drive system.
I have considered going to a belt drive system on my T-Cat but there not cheap.

Sorry I missed the post Megaman.

Um can we say major Viper rip? That thing looks so much like a Viper its just dumb. I love the vipers looks I think it is ahead of every other sled by miles in looks. This sled looks better too but it also seems to be a bit of a Viper knock off. Whatever....

I'm not sure if I like the looks or not, I do like the air induction system though, I think you're gonna see that on alot more sleds in the near future.
I'll make my decission on the looks after I see how it does on the Snow Cross circuit this year.

I am not a big fan of Cats, but that sled looks like it could be very good for sno-x. Cat came out with some interesting ideas in that sled. I wonder how long before everyone else starts to lay down their engines? It would be fun to ride that sled to compare it to last years to see how big of a difference laying down engine down makes.

I'm not pro-cat, but I wonder how many people will change their mind on that sled if it starts winning. I am going to be racing a 01 440 doo and that sled has me alittle worried. To me it looks like an all out snox racer. I just hope I don't get in the way of one on a corner, that pointed nose looks like it could break my leg!!!

I just switched from Polaris this year, I had a lot of bad luck with my XC8 last year. I needed a break from Polaris, and I like the looks of the new X chassis. Never know, I might be back to Polaris next year.
P.S. GO BLAIR!!!!!

Wow a little slap to the others ey'. Well I like my polaris for the ride that I want on the trail not for what it can do on the track. I do not intend to race sleds anytime soon.

I linked the www.maximumsled.com thing with it in another thread about the sled. I love it and SERIOUSLLY WANT IT! I know a guy whose dad's owns a A Cat dealership and he quoted me a price of $7500 on the sled. Said with a real good race portfolio about 5400.

I'm not a Cat fan, and i don't like the goofy hood contours; but i DO like the new technology and features. It's definitely designed for a purpose. I'm sure it will be at the Duluth, MN snocross races this weekend. Wish i could get there.
