It's fixed. It was the water pump. The after checking everything else -- the last thing to check was the water pump because it was the least likely and most time consuming. The impeller nut came off probably because it was not tighten at the factory. The impeller was stripped and would catch and spin sometimes and slip on the shaft other times. The dealer has never seen this happen before. While the engine was apart he also replaced the head because after a pressure check the water system was losing a little pressure. And he threw in a dash pack. I'm confident everything is good to go now.
