Can anyone help.. I have a 2005 polaris xcsp 500 (wifes sled) and the top of the chain case broke by the back brake mounting tab. I have removed the brake assembly, exhaust pipe, chain case cover, and chains and gears. Once the bolts have been removed can the chain case be removed without pulling the track and drive shaft out or do I have to do this to get the case off the shafts.

you are going to want to loosen the track all the way before you try to remove the case. Otherwise the drive shaft will have pressure agaist it.
