any thoughts on why this sled is going this...it has fresh plugs for the season(300ish miles old) ....any ideas????

my first obvious choice after new plugs would be to look at the carbeurators. Have you taken them out and taken them apart to clean them lately? whenever my sled gets boggy thats what I do.

i have never messed with the carbs. but i will have to look at them

did the sled begin this at the start of season or did this just develop? Carbs dont go out of whack on their own, and the jetting should be fine if it was runnin ok prior. Carbs can get dirty though. Also look for leaks at crank seal. If the seals are leakin it will run like shit anywhere but wide open. I have seen guys tweak carbs for drivability and they were not the problem at all, even though it fixed the issue it was only temporary. Also, be sure you dont have water in the fuel.
