I just put a new 1 3/4 back country track on my 07 1000 crossfire, and it works good, but I have a glitch,it seems to make the sled bog sometimes when I crack the throttle from a dead stop.Has anyone put one of these tracks on,and if so,is there any clutch mods you need to do to get it dialed in? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

I don't think so ,I loosened it off till it ratcheted, then snugged it up,and it seems to glide nicely to a stop. I thought that the machine would have enough h.p. to compensate for the track, but maybe I was wrong? When it does this bogging , it only revs out to about 6000 r.p.m.,you can let off the throttle, and hit it again and it will come around and pull its r.p.m. It never did this before when it had the 1 1/4 track on it so I'm assuming that I need to do some clutching. I just don't know where to start.

Track will not cause a bog.
Check the exhaust valves.
