I have a 74 polaris colt that ran two years ago I drained all of the fluids and it has been in the barn I want to ride it again but I'm not sure what kind of oil or other fluids I need to be running in it any one know all of the fluids I should be using?

Witch fluid did u drain? There should only be chain case oil and brake fluid and fuel. Mix 2 cycle oil with the gas and some guys use trany fluid in the chain case. DOT 3 brake fluid I believe.I'm hoping you didn't drain that though.

Yes you need to run the mix in that machine!! It is a 2 stroke engine, and it is not oil injected so you need to mix I believe 50:1 ratio. Wallmart has Supertech 2cycle for cheap. Dealers have chaincase oil, but I think you can run atf in there also??? If you have a non-ethanol gas station around then use that, it's better for the engine.
