i recently bought a Yamaha enticer 250, and am curious, im not sure what size carb it has in it now, but i have a 40mm mikuni sitting around doing nothing, would it hurt the sled if i put it on, im sure it would work, and the sleds oil-injected, would it screw up the gas/oil mix???? thanks[]

40mm seems like pretty big for a 250... the air velocity coming into the carb may be too weak for reliable performance. Most yamahas go with a smaller carb than other manufacturers, just to keep the velocity of the air higher so it has more reliable pick-up of the fuel...

It may work if you port the engine and add aftermarket intake and exhaust to increase the airflow, but I bet that it will be hard to tune and make run reliably across the whole powerband...
