this is an 81, but should be similar

...well the best way is to look and see if it has a plastic oil tank under the hood it is usually a good indicator. :) and then chk to see if it is hooked up, if not there, or is but not hooked up then premix
i dont think the 80 skidoo/motoski models had oil injectio on them, i think it came out in 81 or 82.
don't confuse your rotary valve lube oil tank for an oil injection tank.
lol, well that's prolly what it is!Its hooked up down to the bottom of the motor thanks alot man. what's it for and what kind of oil do I need in it? and does any body know the gas-oil-mixture for it? [8D][8D]
Wow deja vu, had a 81 9500+, the old girl use to move.
Drop by your dealer and ask for rotary oil. 40:1 sounds right , but again confirm it...
yes thank you i was talking to a guy yesterday and he said 40:1gas and oil ratio. and he said he uses 2-stroke oil in the rotary valve oil thanks[:)][:)]
umm im really not good with ratio's how much is 40:1 my 1972 ski-doo olympique 300 is 20:1 1quart of oil and 5 gallons is what that is.
umm, hmmm, its should say it on the back of the bottle? id think like 3/4 pint
I had a 1981 and 1982 Blizzard 9500 and I ran a 50:1 ratio in both. The 92 had oil injection which I took off. I used Polaris oil but any good brand will work just fine. The plastic bottle under your hood is for the rotary valve. I also used the Polaris oil in it. Happy sledding!!

20:1=1qt in 5 gallons, so 40:1=1qt in 10 gallon's[:)]
The large number is part's/quart's of gas, the small number is part's/quart's of oil[:D]
It's not that hard, just initially confusing until you commit the formula to memory.
Rick
hey thanks a lot [:D]

the rotary lube oil does just that. it lubes the rotary valve disc. you will hardly ever need to add oil to it as it simply recirculates the oil from the tank through the rotary valve and back to the tank.
any 2 stroke oil will work for rotary lube oil.
