My friend has this old skidoo that didn't have a spark. I replaced his coil and wires so now there is a spark and it starts. It doesn't idle at all w/o the throttle applied and gas spits out of the carb. by the airbox. This sled has been sitting for about 4 or more years. Could it be that the gas is just REALLY bad i already know it is) but would it have that effect? If some1 could help me out that'd be great.

I think it could if the gas is gummed up really bad, try cleaning out the carbs.

your engine is flooding. The floats are probably stuck. Take the carb apart and clean the entire thing, make sure the pilot jet and main jets are clean. Also make sure your fuel inlet needle and seat holds pressure.

Agreeance w/ TriumphoverU...has been sitting too long...dump old gas after carb replace or rebuild and you'll (he'll) be "in there".
