Well the 1983 skidoo 9700 blizzard has 521.2ccs 86hp twin carbs l/c it had a new cylinder head design for the year,they weighed about 492.00 pound's they were nice machine's

the 9700 blizzard was only produced for 2 years, '83 and '84.
521cc, twin 40mm carbs and twin pipes. 86hp is correct.
they were a fast sled. if your bud can find one in decent shape tell him to pick it up. just make sure it has a comet102c/108c or even a TRA drive clutch on it and not a stock bombardier clutch, bombardier's stock blizzard drive clutches were junk..
