I have a 1989 polaris indy 400. When i pour a little gas in the carbs to make it start it starts right up and then after it burns the gas i pour in there it just dies. I cleaned the carbs so what could it be?
i cleaned the fuel pump and checked all the fuel lines. I can see fuel flowing through the lines into the carburetor. Would it be because the gas is no good. I just bought the snowmobile today and the guy told me he just barely put gas in it but i dont know if he put good gas.
yes id try fresh gas, when you sniff the tank does it smell strong? should about knock ya out.....OK OK QUIT SNIFFING THE FUMES!!!!!!
but seriously try changing out gas or if the tanks almsot empty just add good gas
