how does the heat exchanger come out of my 1990 indy 500? is it just taking out the drive shaft, then drilling out the rivots that hold it in and it will come out? or do i have to pull the motor to get to the hose clamps or will it slide out far enough to get the clamps off? im very mechanically inclined so just a brief walkthrough would be a huge help!

Long screw driver will remove clamp under engine. Motor shouldnt have to come out.The rest you have right remove track rear suspension and drive shaft.
