I have a 94 Vmax 500. Sputters on tke off till high rpm. then will go real well. no takeoff power at all. any ideas would be great.

well you could start by cleaning the carbs real good,check clutches,belt deflection. it could be alot of different things.

Carbs are mint clean. new plugs an wires. ajusted air to 1 an 1/8 turn. plenty of gas. one cylinder getting more gas then other. you can see it commin out on the exaust side. needle not stickin either ..

Dose anyone think the TORS could be causeing this? the light dose come on when you start the sled. an time to time.?

Where would the main ground be for the Sled?

i am new at sledding but decided to take some advice and disconnect the tors..and my sled is a friggin rocket now!!

A lot of people disconnect the TORS, but it is there for a reason so the throttle won't stick. You can test to see if the TORS works, it is in your owners manual. If there is no change after the test then it is probably the TORS. I really believe you have a carb issue if your sled is sputtering. Make sure you clean all the jets well and that the carb gaskets are still good. Good luck.
