Good morning everyone,

I am new here and hav a question I hope you can help with.
I just picked up a 94 VMAX 600 DX with 1700 miles, it runs well but has been sitting for a while, I am looking for you experience on what I need to do to this before I head out on the trails.
My Plan is:
-Remove rear suspension and check everything and replace what parts that are worn
-Remove and clean carbs
-Remove and check carb boots? the rubber boots the carb attaches to.
-Replace all fuel and oil lines.
-Check the cooling system.
-Gear box and chain, open cover and check chain and gears, replace gasket and add new gearbox oil.
-Check all cables for condition and proper adjustment.
-Check brakes
_ overall check ewahts left.

I dont have any experience with the drive system, is there something I should do with the clutches, disassemble and clean???

Thanks,

Fran

I know some of you do not like this sled, but the price was perfect---free

that's what i do to my sleds every summer when i'm bored. As for the clutches, just have someone check them out to see what's needed. You've pretty much covered it.
