I have a 1995 xlt.
FRONT and REAR suspension on my sled are Std 7"/XC-100 8"

I have my skid totally apart and bought new springs and have painted it.I love doing this stuff.

Can I adjust my straps and suspension in anyway that I get an xtra10 kinda deal?? (REAR SUSPENSION)

Or something of that nature? The skid seems to be the same as the xtra10. How can I get more suspension????

THANKS!!!!!

I have a 95 Indy 500. Had the XC100, and swapped it for an Xtra-10 with the PPS shock. It would be difficult to convert the XC100 into an Xtra-10, you would have to make your own sissors stops, front and rear, and the biggest problem with that is that there isn't anywhere to mount them on the XC100 rails. I don't believe the rear shocks on an XC100 are the same length, so even after you modified the skidframe, for a better ride you should buy a position sensitive shock, probably from Comet. I think it would be cheaper and more effective to get a used Xtra-10 and put it in. That is why I have an extra XC100 in my barn.
