Before I put my sled on E-Bay I wanted to check if anyone here was interested.
875 MILES
X-TRA 12 FRONT AND REAR
TRACK WITH 300 MILES ON IT(BOUGHT IT WITH THE INTENTION OF PUTTING STUDS ON BUT NEVER DID,PREDRILLED STUDS HOLES NEVER PUT STUDS IN)
HAND AND THUMB WARMERS
SPARE REAR IDLER
WINDSHIELD BAG
ENGINE BLEW WHEN IT HAD 300 MILES ON IT, COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, PROFFESIONAL REBUILD AND CASE DRILLED OUT TO PREVENT FURTHER MELTDOWN PROBLEMS. ALWAYS WELL MAINTAINED. ANY QUESTIONS?
I was just curious. I've got the exact same sled, and I've never had any problems with the engine. Mines got 5200 miles on it. What's the deal with drilling the case out on yours?
From what two different Polaris dealers told me, one of the cylinders does not get proper lubrication under certain conditions. So while they were in there rebuilding, they drilled the case out to allow more lubrication. I also adjusted the oil flow to get a just a little more lubrication, sure, it slows it down slightly, but my engine will last longer.
Well, I did not want to turn this into a classified board, but how does $3000 sound? Not gonna find many with miles that low. I am going to list it on E-Bay this week, I will keep you updated.
Because although I live near Buffalo, I am 30 miles north of the lake effect snow belt and we have had very little snow the past 3 years. Believe me, I would have loved to put a million miles on it!
I set the reserve at $2800, I hope I can get a little more than that though. Around here, except for that 8 ft. of snow in Dec. that's all gone, we have had very little snow and I think people are looking for boats now.
Nice sled!! Love that extra 12. I'd buy because I'm not far from you but with the american exchange that's like $10,000 Canadian. (Feels like it) Good price on it and good luck. Mark
Close to $5,000 Cdn.
