Hey guys,

I have a 1997 Polaris Trail Touring 500, haven't been really driven in a couple years but just starting to take it out now.
There was a squeal sound that I'm assuming was from the drive belt (maybe it was the clutch?), but I drove it anyways for a bit. Then I started having problems with it hesitating and not even wanting to go, so I crawled it over and parked it. But took it out today and at first it was squealing quite a bit, but then it stopped. Now it seems to be running pretty good. I've attached pictures of the belt, maybe you guys can give me some tips. I'm new to sledding so anything is appreciated.

Thanks.

need to loosen the belt up . should ride above the secondary the width of the outside ribs , about 1/8 in
Verify it's the right belt. It looks to be about right on the secondary as it sits. Any broken engine mounts? Engine torque stop adjusted properly - if equipped?
