Ok everyone, in a race, quarter mile say, what would win....

1998 Polaris Indy 500 touring 2-up seat

or
1989 Ski-Doo Formula MX 462-single seat/low profile windshield,liquid,dual carbs., rebuilt motor

Thanks for the opinion.

It depends, there's lots of variables. Assuming both sleds were either studded or not studded and everything else was stock with riders of equal weight........I'm going ot go out on a limb here and say the MX would win. It is 10 yrs older, but those MX's were fast.

I think they are both liquid. I'll choose the Indy 500, but it will be a close race.

It would be close, but I think the Indy 500 would win.

I'm sorry, a 1998 Polaris Indy 500 isn't a fan cooled sled. All indy 500's are 488cc Liquid Cooled twins with 2 VM38SS roundslide carbs.
