I am really hoping to get this sled. It has 9,000 KM on it and the asking price was $1700. I'll see about getting it a bit less since it was "or best offer" But not going to low ball them because the sled is in GREAT shape. Its going to need a new carbbide soon.

If i do ever get it I'll post pics of it :)

Any advice? ( i know its a old old old question in the forum LOL)

Forgot to mention it is liquid cooled and it has reverse.

nevermind, yeah i just saw that. i bought a 97 in evolved with a 133x1" track, and 3400 miles for 1,000.00 us last year if that's any help, was in great shape as well.

Bowak is in Canada. $1700 USD in America is an outrageous price for a 1998 indy 500. But I'm sure $1700 in canada is a good price. Sold parts to a Canadian last month, He had a 1991 Indy 500 and said it's worth $1500 in Ontario, compared to it only being worth $500 in the twin cities.
(9000km is 5600miles BTW)
Bowak, we need some other Canadians opinions on the price. Jesse500 should have an idea

Just for a price comparison, i sold my 98 with i think 3000 miles? for 2800 dollars Canadian.
