ok like i said i have a 99 700 rmk it was modded when i bought it.the guy put on a set of jugs with ves not sure of the year but it does have ves on it now and it has the digatron meter on it when i hammer on the gas the cht goes up two 1200 real quick then if i release the throttle it goes down to about 1100 or so.i was woundering if any body knows why this is going so high so quick.other mods on it are power packs.v force 3 reeds dyno port can.it also has a 151 inch track.any help would be nice.
ps i would also like to know what else to do to this sled to help with more take off.

still cant figure out the cht for those who dont know what i mean by that it is cylinder head temp.
also anyone know how i can get more grunt on take off.the sled is fast.but i had a stock arctic cat 700 that was way faster on take off it would put the skis straight up on take off.this polaris just goes it will hit 53 in about 300 feet. i just want more

CLutching and gearing is what you need to look into. First you need to figure out what you have and then you need to post that up. I am a flatlander so I have no real input as far as set ups go but there are folks here that can help.

As for the VES...It must be a newer motor because I don't think you can just throw VES jugs on a 700 big block...maybe I am mistaken though.

The Digitron will go up a bit when you hammer on it because its making more power/heat at that point but you don't want it going too high. Maybe it needs some jetting attention. Are you running in the mountains or is it jetted for the the mountains and you are riding near sea level...? Some things to think about.

thanks does any one know what all clutches i can put on this sled i went to look at what spring and weights i had and noticed there was play in the clutch.so i figured i would just change out the whole clutch.
