Yes but you need a nicasyl hone/stones and some know how.

Take the cylinders to a machine shop, it's like $30 to run a hone through the cylinders

i hone all the cylinders that i have had out with a regular craftsman hone. never had a problem. do it yourself. make sure the stones are big enough to fit through the ports tho and watch the bottom of the cylinder.

yup. 2001 kx 125, 2002 yz 125, my ultra, my friends zl 600, 1995 polaris 500. i know that the kx was nicasyl, pretty sure the others were too. not sure bout these but also done yamaha warriors, 2 stroke 80s, my trx 350 quad. all still run. never blew up, knock on wood.
