So I tested my stator on my 1999 arctic cat zl 500 efi and here are results:

Brown to green: Should be 450 ohms. Mine is 424 ohms

Brown to black: Should be 490-500 ohms. Mine is 465 ohms

Green to black: Should be 45 ohms. Mine is 43 ohms

I tested the plug on stator with a multi meter like they said on the how to video on youtube.com

Do these test results say bad or good? Could this be reason it has to be held half throttle for ahwile till it slowly goes up in rpms then once it hits 8000 rpms it just takes off and after riding ten miles tries dying until i let off throttle then like comes back to life? it also shut off when i stopped on trail but started right back up first pull. Please help got fresh snow and want to ride.

I cant punch trottle and go. It also doesnt like it if your going up hill or when there a load on it.

i bet that when it is cold it runs fine right away doesnt it? and you can probably just go slow and it seems not to bad right? if that is the case you probably have reed petals stuck open. replace them and you should be ok.
