We have two 1983 Ski Doo Citation 4500 (manufactured in September 1982) snowmobiles located in southern New Jersey. The Citation models were designed as affordable sleds with great fuel economy that still provided good performance. These are two passenger sleds. The sleds are in great shape and would make an excellent addition to any riders’ collection or they can very easily be restored to “like new” condition for showing (and riding). The sleds have very good power to weight ratio, a low center of gravity, wider stance, excellent fuel economy, decent suspension for their time, solid reliability and workmanship.

They have been stored in an enclosed shed for the last 10+ years. They are wholly stock/original and were runners when put into storage and should be easy to return to full running capacity. We have pulled the plugs and placed Marvel Mystery oil into the cylinders to insure the motors are not seized and with the plugs restored we have demonstrated compression. All mechanical components are in place and in very good to excellent shape including the body panels, foot guard/rests, seat, etc. The sleds are ready to go riding with minor effort.
If someone were to want to restore them to like new condition they are in need of minor cleaning and pinstriping work and possibly some logo/stickers. Mechanical restoration would be very simple and standard type resto work. In addition we have the owners guides and safety manuals that go with them for added “authenticity/validation” if the goal is to restore them as collectors items. We have pictures and even short videos of each sled starter rope being “pulled” with the plugs removed to demonstrate the engines are free and not seized as stated above.
$2500 dollars cash for the pair. $1300 cash each if sold separately.
