alright, instead of paying a 1000-2000 dollars for a new motor for my sled, i am going to get a new sled. im thinkig of a 2002 polaris edge x. blue and yellow. they are sick. and i will use my 01 as a spare parts machine or something. i found a bunch on craigslist for the 2000 range. what do you think of these sleds. do they have the thermostat problem as did the 01, or did they fix that. and is 2500 a good deal? thanks
here are some links.

if you do get that 02 edge, make sure you get a longer snow flap too, at times snow won't reach the heat exchangers and you'll over heat all the time. make sure you find out about the engine history. clean out the carbs and 'refresh' the coolant.

Alright, on the 01 I had I had a snow flap the was half the length and a drop bracket for ttys suspension. It only over here's once. But I will get a longer snowflap because I probably got lucky.
