Just purchased a 2003 proX 700 and I am finding out about the recall now. My border clearance papers (from polaris) for importing to canada stated the recall as well and that it hadnt been done and was expired. I spoke with the guy I bought it off and he hadnt even heard of it.

Can this recall still be done? Do they need sent to the factory? How long will it take?

Im a bit worried as winter is approaching quick.

Going to call polaris in a few hours when they open up.

I doubt they will do it after this much time. I think you will have to pay. Usually the dealer did all the footwork. But that was 7 years ago.
If I remember correctly it was either a curve adjustment or a small change. I don't remember 100%

I think they give you 3 years to have it done. By now you'll have to pay for it.

I found a remapped CDI off of a 2003 xc 700. (used) Does anyone know if this will work on proX700? Are they the same?
