i am considering purchasing a 2005 SKIDOO SDI but i hear they have an issue with the HIGH SPEED LEAN out. Can anyone tell me if this is true or support the whereabout of a fix etc... Any one support this issue? Call dealer etc... THANKS... KOW

If it's too lean for your liking at high speed then just put one or two bigger size main jets in it, problem solved.

Assuming there's not something else causing the lean condition of course.

I would assume you mean the midrange lean out? I don't know if there is a fix for that yet. I would post up on dootalk see what they say. But I believe ski doo did indeed make a "fatter" fuel map for the sdi's to prevent mid range lean burndown. Like I said though give doo talk a try.

My mistake, I for some reason thought we were talking about an 800 PowerTek, not a 600 SDI.

If the sled is having a lean out at high speed is the main jets that are smaller than they should be. You can look in to a dail-a-jet or something like that. Also you can look at the exhaust temps to see if it is true or not. hope that this helps you out.
