Since we can probably say winter is officially over, I think it would be cool to have a thread listing all of the summer "snowmobile related" events. If they don't have a link please list a date and time with an address. I'm always at the Outlaw drags in Princeton. I actually enjoy that more than Haydays. It's nowhere near the size of haydays but it still draws some good size race teams, big vendors (and small), VERY good swap meet and awesome food. I've mentioned it to Erick in past years so if you've been there and think it would be a good place for him to recruit members, let him know. If you've never been to it I'd highly recommend it.

Don't forget...Haydays has a new location NE of the old one.

August 16th is the "Irondogs swap meet" at the Elk River Fairgrounds. I've been to this a couple times. It's decent size, has a couple food booths, and is reasonably priced to get in. If you're heading west on HWY 10 from the cities, go through elk river and as you're coming out of town on the west side it'll be on your left at the fairgrounds.

Try to keep this thread goin guys. These events are what keep me sane in the summer[thumb] Hope to see some of you at one or more of these.

Does anyone have local grass drags or watercross dates? Anything is better than nothing guys.

I recently picked up a customer who is very involved with the mn.usa (http://www.snowmobile-mnusa.org/). I have some dates for legislative meetings if anyone is interested. These guys could really use some help...the couple I recently met just flew out to D.C. last week to try to keep the "greenies" from dismantling our sport. Seeing what these people are doing on a national level really opened my eyes. We all take for granted our privledge to ride where we do. Thank you to the guys clearing and marking the trails and to the ones dealing with the homos on capital hill[thumb]

I remember a thread about the mn gov trying to take money from the snowmobilers....here is some good news on that....http://www.snowmobile-mnusa.org/index.php?pageid=543.....I'll try to find a more informative article.
