Glad it worked out for those who went.

Hopefully next year conditions are better so more people can make it.

Just got home after the 8 hour return drive.
Put on 285 mile's, in 2 1/2 day's of riding.
Grease and Wally did a great job of guiding once again.
Had some fuel delivery issue's with My sled, and whacked a BIG rock on the Yukon Thurs.
Put a little kink in the tunnel, but otherwise the sled ran pretty well all weekend.

Would have been nice to have a few more people there, but all in all, I had a great weekend.

Thank's Again to Grease and Wally, for dragging Me around their little playground.
Literaly at one point!

Rick

Went up the 26th of Feb. to start out my Fanatics ride. Did a pre ride down the Yukon to see if it was groom able. Met up with Evil Santa and he rode up with me in the groomer. Rough going but we took our time and didn't break anything. What normally takes 8 hours to do took almost 14 hours so Evil Santa drove my truck down and I finished grooming Fri. morning.
Fri. Wallygator and he wife came up and so did my wife. Evil Santa and his wife Sue Iron lung and his son came up and we rode Sat. and Sun. with the women. They went home Sun. and then Wallygator came back up Mon. afternoon and we proceeded to do some exploring around and got into some interesting situations.
Thurs. morning, Boss980F, his buddy Andrew and Festus showed up.Went out to play on some logging roads and Festus's sled did not want to corporate. Fuel line problems. Ended up towing him home the last 3 miles. Boss980F also had to get towed back the last 1000 yards, he ran out of gas.
Got the fuel line repaired for Fri. so we were good to go.
Fri., we were on our way to the Tressel going the back way in and Andrew decided to clip a fallen down tree. Put his sled out of commission for the weekend.
Sat., Iron lung, his son Casey( my brother in law and nephew) and Evil Santa showed up. We played around on some roads and lakes while we headed our way to Babbitt. Snow was getting real thin the further west we went.
Iron lung's sled decided to flood out on on cylinder. found a piece on junk in the needle valve. Quick fix and we were good to go.

Out grooming with Evil Santa.

Some minor repairs on Wallygator's sled. Doesn't like rocks too well. Tweaked the lower A-arm.A little red neck ingenuity and we had it straighten out.

Snow conditions were not the greatest but it was ride able.
All in all I managed to put on 725 miles on the sled with no problems.
Nice seeing everyone that came up and hopefully next year will be better.

Nice pics GM...hopefully next year will yield some better snow. For us that enjoy the off trail over the trails it just wasn't worth the price of admission this year. If things change this year yet, I'd love to meet up with some of you guys for a saturday/sun and hit up the powerlines...we'll have to see.

I would have to agree with Sledneck1978, a good Snow storm hits the shore, better take advantage of it. You guys definitely made the best out of poor Snow conditions this season, took the wives out, trail mechanics, and got 700 plus miles on.
