ran the 440 down the track, at about 900 feet it wanted to sputter, and died, let it sit for a couple minutes, started right up, ran fine, once in a while it would slow down near the end, other times ran great,
stock 220 jets. everything else is stock. lots of piston wash, not to lean, seeing what ideas pop up out there.

When it died did you check your plugs.? How'd they look..? sounds like a fuel problem.. maybe too lean, also could loading up w/ fuel and flooding itself..

I'd look at fuel pickup problems, in the line into the tank, or something of the sort.

found out what it was. there was a seriel number break for the specs. we got the wrong spec sheet from polaris. we should be running 330-360 trail riding, and 280-330 for speed running, not 220 like we were told. there must not have been enough fuel to even make carbon.
