Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a new seat skin for my wifes 1999 Polaris 500 Classic Touring. Is it better to try to get just the seat skin or do I need to replace the whole seat.

I am pretty sure you can get a seat skin for it. Is it in pretty bad shape? Like are there chunks of foam missing? If so, I would get a whole new seat. Is there anyone that sews around your area? Maybe they could make a cover for it and put it on.

back about 2 years ago when i was inbetween sleds, i was riding my bosses 96 indy supersport, it had a torn seat. you can call polaris and get a skin for it, and they have a few to chose from, depending on how much you are looking to spend.
