i am 13 and have a skidoo mxz700. i can handle it real good but i need eletric start. i am trying to get a sled without eletric start. i am looking for a good
cross country-snowcross sled that still has power but easy for me too pull start. i know i can pull start a 500 but would a 600 be much different. what do you think 500 or 600 and what make and model.

I think he made his point. He doesn't want electric start. Quit telling him to use it.

I don't like it, I think it's for wusses [:D] Or old ppl [:D] It's acceptable on 4-strokes and it's acceptable on touring sleds.

Same goes for reverse.

That's JMHO though.

Oh yeah, and a 600 has more top end than a 500. By about 10 to 15 MPH. Plus it will get there A LOT faster.

Or parents you care about him! Like someone said, no difference between 5 and 6 - pulling them over. Get the 600, that way later you won't wish you had! The 600 has more top end and acceleration then a 500, my 600 XC has pulled 115 on the SPEEDO on a cold day... jetted right and everything running good. Average top speed though is around 105 to 110 on the SPEEDO.

You should not have any prob with the 6 then, my buddies wife has a 02 500xc - I got a 02 600xc. You really can't tell the difference between the two.

If a 500 isn't any faster than a 600 then why spend 1200 dollars extra on a 600? And i would like to know what parent would let thier 13 year old kid run around on a 700. I just dont get people sometimes.
