I'm relatively new to this forum, I was wondering how difficult it would be to swap over a 580 top end *single exhaust port* to my 550 lower, also how much performance would this gain. Reliability? Clutching?
For what, 5 hp at most in your set up? Stock they (580) probably topped around 90mph, or just under. The ZRT 600's topped low 90's, according to Amsnow's 1995 shootout. With my studs, my 550 will keep up to 120 hp 600's all day long on the trails. And that's with everyone opening 'em up on the straight-a-ways.
