Ok so I have a 1975 Polaris 440 tx that I had gotten from a relative that had it sitting in a barn for years and had no spark. I had found a used cdi box from a scrap yard (not sure if its from that exact sled but same box with the right connections) and got spark. spark is bright blue on one and a lil dull on the other. Note that I had clean carbs. Correct jet info would b nice. Has good compression. Fired up on 3 pulls. Took it out and doesn't seem to want to open up so I got a new coil from Dennis kirk and got exact same spark. The darn thing runs great but when I floor it it just doesn't want to open up.. when u kinda ease the throttle u can get it goin. I'm not sure what to set the screws on the crabs at and just wondering if it could b either starving for air or fuel or if the cdi box isn't right but I've always heard they either work or don't.. I'm at wits end with this and would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks
