I recently picked up this sled and the air box had been removed. It had ran fine with it off.I installed the factory air box assembly and it some how flooded the right hand (not clutch side) cylinder. It will only run on the left.I have tried and tried to get it firing on both.

I tried new plugs and it has great spark on both sides.???

I am not sure what the jetting is supposed to be stock or if it was changed to run with no air box?

Does anyone know how to get a motor fired up again from severe flooding?

Also what should the idle screws be set at? What is the stock jetting?

This sled is a gem in mint shape! I want to ride!

Thanks for any positive input!

When a carb floods bad on one side it is usually the float needle. Sometimes they get gummed up and stick. Sometimes they are old and they leak. Buy some viton-tipped needle seat assemblies from Dennis Kirk. $17 each. Dealer will rape you for them-

I pull the plugs and pull it over till the gas stops spraying out the plug holes. Turn the gas off when you do this.
