i got this sled from a guy for free thats been sittin for like 8-9 years and i have fixed it up well now it only starts unless i pour fuel directly into the cylinder how can i make it so i don't have to do this anymore...and just so you know i don't know much about sleds and the anatomy of them i am basically just gettin started.

Pickles on to it...good carb overhaul will make a world of difference.

Pick up a manual for that sled since you don't know sleds very well.

Since it's been sitting, you might want to check the muffler and air box for mice nests, or even snakes.

Not just the carbs. On a sled that's been sitting that long you should pull and clean the complete fuel system and put on new lines. It is probably full of dry hardened fuel/oil mixture which if you just clean the carbs will immediately wash down and plug everything up again.
