on my enticer i am trying to adjust my carb. i basically have no clue on what i'm doing. it runs what seems to be high idle, it is a two stroke so i might be wrong. but anyway it runs and does not die when the choke is on but when i take the choke off it seems to run bad a little bit then die. shoud i just get a whole new carb or is the one i got still capable of going good?

I used to ride an enticer 340 years ago. I think it was around 1978. Moved to a Phazer in 84. If I remember right, they only had one carb. Is that right? Anyhow, a sled that old most likely has varnish built up in the carb. If you are not sure what you are doing, take the carb off and take it to a dealer for cleaning and rebuild. They are pretty simple carbs and if you have any skills you should be able to take it apart and clean it up with some carb cleaner.
