if its a 07 then its the xr-s, not the blair morgan, i have a 800 xr-s, picked it up month or so ago, it did not come with the 800r motor which is in the 150's, it has the power tec which is in the 143 range
Im not a bombardier specialist but he have a bee on the cab...i was just asking that for personnal info because he told me 155hp...and i was a little surprise! I find that high for a 800 stock! He tell me it was a special edition and very hard to find here in quebec!
the x-rs's were a special spring order sled, there wont be alot of them around, hes right, but the 800r motor that boasts 151hp is not available in the flat lander sleds for 07, only select mountain sleds, the difference between the two for the different hp ratings is the 800r has a mono block with better cooling along with the machz water pump, different stroke, ignition and fuel managment and it has the 3d rave, the 800 he has in his im assuming x-rs is the power tec it doesnt have any of that and is rated at 141-143, still a great motor, pulls hard and is good for about 110-115 mph in that sled, put extra venting in and a clutch kit and he'll be happy
The 2003.5 blair morgens were fast sleds, faster then normal 800's from 2003, we had both acutally 3 2003 revs we had a 2003 bever tail 600 ho rev, a 2003 800 x rev beaver tail and a 2003.5 blair morgen. the blair morgen was by far the fastet, they had about 134-138 hp. if you clutch it stud it and throw on some reeds and reed spacers it will wake that thing up and make it go!
