I have an 89 Jag 440, single carb. The sled will not idle at all. When moving the idler screw it seems not really to have any effect at all. Do you think I should just take the time to take the carb off and go threw it or could it just be the throttle cable adjustments. Any suggestions are always appreciated.
Thanks

What I would do first is take it off and clean it, it doesnt take much to make a carb act up. Just make sure you clean it all real good. if that doesnt work check your lines and fuel pump(if equipped) and as with the carb it doesnt take much to make it act up. Good luck!
