I have a 1991 Arctic Cat El Tigre EXT Special. The outside of the hyfax and the rail bumper on the clutch side on the front of the slide rail are being chewed up by the track. Further down the rail everything is fine. The sled has never been crashed, the track is in proper alignment and tension, the rails are straight and the drivers are stock and in good shape also. I have thought about moving the drivers over .25" or somehow moving the drive shaft over somehow using spacers or something. However I do not know if this is even possible. My dealer says to tighten the front strap (if it has one). Any ideas?

Perhaps the track is to tight on the clutch side. That would cause excessive friction on the "rail bumper" and the hyfax. It would also cause the track to "twist," which could explain the wear on the outside.
