Lower inner chaincase seal is leaking and I want to go to the UP this weekend. Does the bearing and seal pop right out with the track loosened?, anything special I need to do to get that apart?

I figure the top seal should be easier (figured I'd do them both) but would like to know any tips or tricks if anyone has them.

if you have two drivers, you can just loosen the track and moove the dricveshaft over to the clutch side to remove the chaincase.

if yo have four drivers, you will need to remover the suspension, track, and driveshasft to remove the chaincase.

regardless of which setup you have you will need to remove the chaincase in order to replace the chaincase and drive bearings.

if you have a few thousand miles on the sled, and have not had the drive bearings (clutch side), it would be a good idea to replace those also since you will already have the jackshaft, driveshaft, and chaincase out.
