I was told that you can just bolt in the FOX shocks from a xtra 10 into my skid. Which I believe is 8 inches of travel?? Is this true?? If so will it wreck anything??

Also can I bolt in longer shocks on the front end without changing anything??

I tried to fit a fox front extra-10 skid shock on my 8" and it wouldn't fit without hitting the bottom cross tube (too fat). That's as far as I went with it.

There were Fox shocks available for the ITS suspension in '93. They came on the XLT Special. They were never available from the factory on the SKS, though. You could check to see if they would fit. A service manual may tell you the length and stroke of the shocks. Then you would know for sure.

Oh, by the way. I do not think Fox shocks would vastly improve anything on the '93 ITS suspension.
