Ok Im working on the Indy trail and was wondering: Can I leave the plastic peice (I belive its called a baffle) Out of the airbox? It seems like it is very restrictive and would breathe better w/o it. And if I can leave it out would it require rejetting? Its a 94 w/ a fuji 488 fan. Thanks fellers

I think that baffle does play a role in jetting. If you do take it out, just watch your plugs.

Dirty im not sure about the fanner, but i know alot of guys around here gut the air box for better breathing. Its like anything else, more air and fuel equals more power generally. Hope it helps. I also 2nd what Hangman said about increasing your main jets. More air and you'll need more fuel.
