anyone know what are ideal springs to use in the primary and secondary, and what helix angle/angles should i be lookin for to make er pull. it seems to be boggy off the line, pulls alright mid, and top end it starts to just stop pullin around 80-90 mph. its efi, and its got a green drive spring, and a yellow driven and a yellow/green drive.
help would be appreciated, thx.

should be able to call your local cat dealer to find out what you need for clutching but i have a 95 i'll look to se what it had in it and post it

Low end bog could mean your clutches are too close together. Measure the distance between the centers of your clutches. Should be 12.2". If it's too close look for broken motor mounts, bent bulkhead or loose motor mounts. Stock spring should put your engagement at about 4800 RPM. 49.5 g weights sounds right. Make sure your belt isn't sitting low in the driven clutch. Check it with a NEW belt. If it's low, remove shims from between the sheaves. This will bring them together so the belt sits right.
