I was just wondering, what is the difference between a 1999 Indy 500 XC and a 1999 Indy 500 XCSP? I looked on Polarisman already, and I didn't see any major differences. I am pretty sure that the SP that year didn't have VES, I think that first came out in 2000. Anyone know? Thanks,

Chadd

Also the seat is different, with the SP having the extra side-padding for your knees. No VES on the '99 500 yet. I can't think of anything else different besides the shocks already mentioned.

Agreed with what others have stated. The XCSP has a better shock package, racer/padded seat, the engine is the same in both and is non VES.

Also, the gas tank is smaller on the XCSP and only holds 10.5 gallons.
