I am looking for opinions on a used 99 Polaris XCSP 700. Anything bad about this sled?

Sorry piggyback on your thread, but can't see a "new thread" posting....and I am also seeking info and recommendations for a used sled, maybe a bit newer than the one you mentioned.

I am partial to Polaris, but open to others as well. First off I am not into going fast (usually) reliability, handling, suspension, and somewhat fuel mileage are the most important. I mainly ride on groomed trails, but also ride on some pretty rough connector trails in order to get to them. In North Idaho at about 2500+ feet we can easily get a foot or more of powder over-night, so pretty much a mix of conditions. I am looking for a sled from say '99-'05 and 1500-2500 budget.

1999 white XC700. Best sled I have owned to date, even though it turned into a money pit. The XCSP should have rebuildable Fox shocks. Very easy to work on and can really haul the mail when set up right.
