Hi everyone, I have a XC 500 from my nephew he couldn't get running. I bought a rebuild kit for the 2 Mikuni flat slide carbs now mind you he already had them apart and back together when I received it. I found there was no washer under main jet so had to order them. My issue I'm having is gas coming out the vents the needle and seats are new even one float assembly. In the kit it has 2 small rubber washers that are the size of a 6mm socket. When I took them apart I didn't remove anything like them but like I said I just noticed he didn't put the main jet washer on them either. Do they belong somewhere on these carbs and where or they just for different models? I looked at carb schematics where I found the jet washers and don't see the rubber washer, could have overlooked I guess.

I got info on other forum from a person, its #42 called packing was looking for something saying rubber washer. All good!
