I am thinking of adding a temp guage to my sleds. The indy 400 and indy 500 I don't have any problem doing. The problem I have is installing one on a 2001 polaris 550 fan cooled. Has anyone done this and is it something that can be easily done?? Any input will be appreciated...

Most temp gauges are installed to measure the coolant temp. If you have a fan cooled sled, you would have no coolant, and no need for that type of gauge. I believe you can get Cylinder Head temp gauges. I don't know anybody that runs them, nor what proper cylinder head temps would be.

this is the type of setup I use on my 4wheeler, its for paragliding, but found it also works well on my 4wheeler. Never tryed it on a snowmobile, but I'm sure you will get the same results.
