I'd like to turn up my idle speed on my 1990 Safari 377 fan cooled. I looked all over the carb and couldn't see any idle speed screw. Is there a trick to this? I just need to bump it up a tiny bit to keep it running when cold. Thanks

It's on the throttle cable just adjust the tension on it abit.Theres a metal piece with a nut, turn then both up. Should do the trick.

Shouldnt it run with a higher idle when cold due to more air and a overall leaner condition?

Thanks Renegade800. It's got the Mikuni round slide so I'm guessing it's that cable that runs into the top of the carb? I'll give it a try and see what happens.
