I have a '99 xc700 with some mods and was checking out the SLP air horn kit. Has anyone done this and does it make a difference? Also there is the SLP power pack...the dividers you put in the carbs...someone said they made a huge difference...any thoughts? Thanks.

yes i put an air horn kit on my 800, and yes i does help for acceleration, basically get up and go, you will also have to change your jet size like 2 sizes, they are pretty easy to install, i bought a power pack also and they dont do worth a damn unless you have like a 96 98 motor from what i was told, and i could not tell the difference with it on, so i sent it back. The power pack is just an equalizer for your carbs, supposed to help for top end.

Thanks for the input...I am already jetted for pipes and slightly higher compression. I wander if i'd have to go up more...
