What exactly is the "Extra Travel Tunnel" (ETT) and the FasTrack Long Travel Rear Suspension on the newer cats. I have always wondered what it is.

They are just names for the latest design of the Arctic Cat Rear supension. The ETT is a kinked tunnel design, if you look at it you can see the back of the tunnel is at more of an angle than the front part of it.

I'm resisting the urge to pick on the arctic cats here.

seeing as no one address why Cats have the ETT I will. It is for larger tracks and tracks with studs. As well as(the main thing really other is just a good byproduct) allowing for longer travel suspension. When ETT came out is when Cat's suspension became great. I think all 97s have it. I know 97 was the first year for it. My uncle always told my dad when he was sled shopping don't even think of a cat without ETT.

Not sure but I dont think the 2002's have the ETT designation anymore. Maybe its just my sled :) Its no longer mentioned on their website.

I checked some other sites and they do mention it...strange.

Can you give a little more detail in your explanation of what exactly it is... I actually been looking around for it myself!

Did some more checking on AC's website...seems as their on-line brochure's DO list ETT for some sleds.

STILL don't know what it is though :)

Guess with the deal I got my Z 570 esr I don't deserve ETT ;)

Two questions....
1) What the hell does this have to do with the topic
2) What the hell were you trying to say?
